Drinks for maximising athletic performance and to increase
endurance.
Workout, gym and sport.
Super drinks, easy made, 100% natural.
Isotonic, hypertonic or hypotonic drinks.
Isotonic.
Isotonic drinks replace fluid lost by sweating. They give a carbohydrate boost and are used predominantly by athletes such as middle and long distance runners. Use or taking 200ml of fruit squash, one liter of water and the content of one ore two P3-power kelp capsules.
Hypertonic.
Hypertonic drink contains higher levels of carbohydrate intake, than both isotonic and hypotonicdrinks and used as a supplement to daily carbohydrate intake. Use after exercise as they help the body top up on muscle glycogen stores. They can be used during exercise but it is advisable to use a hypertonic alongside an isotonic drink.
Use or take 400mlof fruit squash, one liter of water and the content of three P3-power kelp capsule.
Hypo-tonic
Hypo-tonic drinks are used too replace fluids lost through sweating, but are low in carbohydrates. Most used by athletes such as jockeys and gymnasts. The hypotonic drink is recommended after exercise, after a tough workout, as it targets dehydration ( the main cause of fatigue) and replaces water and energy fast.
Use 100ml of squash, one liter of water and the content of one P3-power kelp containing capsule.
Usage depends on the workout you are undertaking at the gym.
Is it an Aerobic type; running, cycling, walking, you could use an isotonic type drink followed by a hypertonic drink at the end of the session.
For anaerobic exercise( strength, speed and power, i.e. bodybuilding) opt for a isotonic drink.Follow this up with a hypo-tonic drink after the particularly tough workout.
H3-power kelp, Sport nutrition supplement, for a
competitive edge by optimising nutrition.

growth hormones, poly-phenols i.e. The high density of nutrients found in algae
is extremely important for many reasons. Perhaps the most important is that
these nutrients maintain/replace human cell membranes in structure and
function. This is vital for cell detoxification, and for the overall metabolism
in general.Carbohydrates
being one of the main dietary components, rich in both polymeric
(polysaccharides), and basic healthy sugar, part of the Polysaccharides as
fiber and are not indigestible by
humans. A high alkaline Ph of 7.5-8.0 which is important given the acidity of
modern diets & drinks high in refined sugar, soda pop and the use of red
meat. To
determine your pH level, you can purchase a pH test at your local health food
store. Ideally, you want to achieve a neutral score of 6.8 to 7.1. Anything
below 7 is acidic. Using your saliva or urine, the test is relatively easy and
can provide an accurate measurement.
Minerals;
Minerals are required for all metabolic processes, most enzymatic functions depend on minute amounts of bioavailable trace
minerals, as well as proper composition of body fluids, the formation of your
blood & bones, and they are critically important for healthy nerve
function. Now more than ever, supplementation is crucial for health, because
many minerals have practical been depleted from our soils, and other nutrients
are destroyed in the processing & cooking of almost all the foods we eat.
The elements and electrolytes in seaweed are tailor-made for the human body and
contain
high amounts of calcium and phosphorous and are extremely high in magnesium,
iron, iodine and sodium. Demographic studies ( Japan) have shown that people
who regularly incorporate edible seaweed’s into their diets have fewer problems
from mineral depletion. Because the minerals in seaweeds are in colloidal form,
meaning they retain their molecular identity while remaining in liquid
suspension. Colloids are very small in size and are easily absorbed by the
body’s cells and just what human cell membranes need to carry out their
metabolism. Able to pass not only between the different cell but through the
cell membranes in the wall as well. Our common heritage, we arose from the sea
and our internal bodies reflect this. It is proven that negatively
charged minerals can increase the transport and bioavailability of other foods
and supplements.
Ph or acidity of the body
A cause of acidity in
the body is intense exercise, if you hit the gym hard and often, you’ll want to
include a seaweed containing food drink directly, following bouts of strenuous
exercise. Not only will this help neutralize the acid overload, it will also
promote stronger, healthier bones without losing lean muscle mass as you age.
Another cause the natural aging process and the increase of acidosis, which
causes muscle loss, the older subjects in a study ( recent study published in
the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition by Agricultural Research Service)
(ARS)-funded scientists) found that in average 3.6 more pounds of lean muscle
versus subjects who did not consume an alkaline-rich diet. Scientists attribute
these results to the alkalinising effect of plant foods rich in potassium,
among other important nutrients. To determine your pH level, you can purchase a pH test
at your local health food store. Ideally, you want to achieve a neutral score
of 6.8 to 7.1. Anything below 7 is acidic. Using your saliva or urine, the test
is relatively easy and can provide an accurate measurement.
Difference
of opinion arise about the claim that relying solely on land-based food sources
may lead to deficiencies in these micronutrients and electrolytes. That our
Modern civilization is starving for nutrients that are lacking in our basic food
chain. Other claim that, that
the optimal levels of these compounds can be obtained in a normal diet and that
the effect of additional supplements is negligible but questionable. Opposing
the suggestion that, the potency of our food supply is not able to sustain
optimum health. However many believe that commercial farming, burns out
nutrients and adds poisons to the soil, as well as shipping foods
"green" to ripen upon trucks, restricting access or availability, are
major contributors to ill health.
